Awards ceremony to be held at Korea Press Center’s International Conference Hall on December 19, 2017

WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS (www.wfple.org, president Lee San-ha, hereinafter “WFPL”) has announced that it is publicly requesting recommendations for 'WORLD INNOVATIVE CONTRIBUTION AWARDS 2017'(hereinafter 'WIC AWARDS 2017'). Applications will be accepted until October 31, 2017, and the examination results will be announced in November 2017.
The awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the International Conference Hall on the 20th floor of Korea Press Center.
Established by WFPL, 'WIC AWARDS 2017' is intended to contribute to the realization of just and happy world society by encouraging the figures who have set an example of a desirable citizen of the world through excellent achievements and the ones who have contributed to the world peace and human development, thereby letting the world know about their devoted lives.

'WIC AWARDS 2017' are comprised of 9 categories, such as World Peace, Human Rights, Environment, Economy, Science, Health Care, Education, Social Contribution and Cultural Art and Physical Education

Co-hosted by the Global Innovation Contribution Award organizing committee and World Yan Media Group, 'WIC AWARDS 2017' is sponsored by 70 media companies and groups including WFPL Press Corps(president Lee San-ha), Internet Newspaper Association of Korea (Chairman Lee Chee-soo), Korean Pharmaceutical Association, KPA News, International Youth Research Institute, Korea Care Association, AsiaTimes(president Cho Yong-ha), News Culture(president Lee Hoon-hee), SisunNews(president Kim Kwang-woong), Internet Newspaper of Korea, and etc.
Any Korean citizen can recommend a nominee. Also, any overseas Koreans including agency and public institution, Korean embassies and consulates, and overseas Koreans can recommend a nominee.
Recommendation documents should be submitted by 5pm, October 31, 2017. It is possible to either download and fill in the recommendation letter form and accomplishment report form from the announcement for recommendation request for ‘WIC AWARDS 2017’ nominees on the homepage of Worldyan Media Group Inc. (www.worldyan.com) or submit online. Also, the application can also be submitted by e-mail ((e-mail: awards@wfple.org, award@worldyan.com)). The resume and recommendation accomplishment letter should be attached to the submission.
For an impartial and objective screening, ‘WIC AWARDS 2017’ winners will be selected by the achievement review committee under ‘WIC AWARDS’ organizing committee composed of experts from the law field, science field, education field, health and medical field, economic circle, cultural art and physical education field and civil groups.
Winners will be announced in November 2017 on both WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS homepage (www.wfple.org) and the Worldyan Media Group Inc. homepage (www.worldyan.com), and the winners will be individually notified.

Meanwhile, once known as ‘International Youth Research Institute (first president Lee San-ha),’ established in January 2007, ‘World Federation of Power Leaders (WFPL)’ has made its first step while placing a high value in creating a world where the disadvantaged aren’t neglected and the culture of participation and communication wide spreads through exchanges and cooperation within each country around the world; a world ‘where we live together in harmony’.
