WFPL Announces 'WIC AWARDS 2017' Winner November 16
The deadline for the nomination of candidates for WIC AWARDS 2017, the festival of the world's 7.5 billion people, is coming to an end. The reception deadline will be announced until October 31, and the winners will be announced at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 16.
'WIC AWARDS 2017' ceremony will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in the International Conference Hall on the 20th floor of Korea Press Center.
The final winners of the Worldwide Festival 'WIC AWARDS', which will be held annually by over 7.5 billion people around the world including Korea, will receive a total of nine awards, one in each category.
The characteristics of this awards are up to nine people in all categories in the selection of finalists.
With this relationship, the selection of winners applies the principle of regional equal distribution to prevent winners from being selected for a particular country. Only one category winner can be selected in one country.
'WIC AWARDS 2017' are comprised of 9 categories, such as World Peace, Human Rights, Environment, Economy, Science, Health Care, Education, Social Contribution and Cultural Art and Physical Education.
Lee San-ha, president of World Federation of Power Leaders(WFPL) explained the purpose of establishing the WIC AWARDS.
Lee said, "Today, there are many issues that need to be resolved between countries, including the economic, religious, and ideological conflicts."
In particular, Lee emphasises "Facing the problems involving people with disabilities and the seniors, who are socially disadvantaged people, and the problems in adolescents including the education, and the youth problems including that they brace for tougher competition in job market, and the problems in preparation for uncertainty our society is at the crossroads in terms of its capacity to solve these aforementioned problems before suggesting various solutions."
In particular, Lee said that "various issues such as the problem of disabled people and seniors globally, the problem of youth with disabilities and seniors, the education of growing dreams, the youth problems of the world, and the preparation for the uncertainty of the difficult future society, we are standing on a crucial crossroads, where we are suspected of the ability to solve it before presenting it. "
Lee Emphasises "Therefore, now is the time to set out opportunities to place spotlight on various problems of our society and spread the spirit of sharing and serving." and She explains "In this respect, WFPL has enacted the WIC AWARDS for the first time in this year."
"There are a lot of innovators in our global community," he said. "But it a pity that we would like to lead to "devotional" activities that people around the world sympathize with even if they have built innovative achievements."
Finally, Lee said, "WIC AWARDS 2017 is a prize of 7.5 billion people around the world who are given to those who have contributed to innovation and contribution," and she said, "'WIC AWARDS 2017' is intended to contribute to the realization of just and happy world society by encouraging the figures who have set an example of a desirable citizen of the world through excellent achievements and the ones who have contributed to the world peace and human development, thereby letting the world know about their devoted lives, and we hope that this award will bring new vitality to the world and give hope to the world people in the future."
Any Korean citizen can recommend a nominee. Also, any overseas Koreans including agency and public institution, Korean embassies and consulates, and overseas Koreans can recommend a nominee. and also, Public agencies, including embassies and consulates from around the world, or schools in countries around the world, may also nominate candidates for awards.
Recommendation documents should be submitted by 5pm, October 31, 2017. It is possible to either download and fill in the recommendation letter form and accomplishment report form from the announcement for recommendation request for ‘WIC AWARDS 2017’ nominees on the homepage of Worldyan Media Group Inc. (www.worldyan.com) or submit online. Also, the application can also be submitted by e-mail ((e-mail: awards@wfple.org, award@worldyan.com)). The resume and recommendation accomplishment letter should be attached to the submission.
