Seven recipients have been selected for the 4th New Leaders Awards for Future Generation following an open nomination process and a comprehensive review.
The Organizing Committee of the New Leaders Awards for Future Generation, affiliated with the World Federation of Power Leaders (WFPL, President Lee San Ha), officially announced the seven recipients. The committee is co-chaired by Moon Ju-Hyun, Chairman of MDM Group, and Lee Chee Soo, President of the World Press Association (WPA), President of the National Federation of Press Organizations (NFPO), and Honorary Chairman of the Korea Internet Newspaper Association.
The New Leaders Awards for Future Generation were established to recognize and encourage outstanding leaders in their 20s and 30s who have demonstrated professionalism, creativity, and social responsibility while contributing to future value creation and national development. The awards aim to inspire the next generation by recognizing young leaders whose innovation and determination are shaping a better future.
New Leader Awards in Health Honor Ho-Jun Lee, Kyung-Min Hyun, Soo-In Ji, and Jae-Hyun Kim
The New Leader Awards in Health recognize young leaders in their 20s and 30s who have contributed to public health and the sustainable development of healthcare through professional excellence and a strong commitment to the public good. As artificial intelligence and digital healthcare continue to reshape the medical landscape, professional expertise and social responsibility have become more important than ever.
The Medical Award was presented to Dr. Ho-Jun Lee, Executive Director of the Amgen Observational Research Center. The Pharmacy Awards were jointly presented to Kyung-Min Hyun, Director of Public Relations at the Seoul Pharmaceutical Association, and Soo-In Ji, Director of Young Pharmacists at the same association. The Public Health Award was presented to Prof. Jae-Hyun Kim, Associate Professor of Health Administration at Dankook University.

The New Leader Awards in Economy recognize young leaders in their 20s and 30s whose innovation and entrepreneurial leadership have strengthened industrial competitiveness and laid the foundation for sustainable economic growth. As industries rapidly evolve, bold business strategies and innovative leadership have become essential drivers of future competitiveness.
This year's recipient is Seung-Ho Han, Chief Strategy Officer of Korea Port One Co., Ltd.
New Leader Awards in Fusion Presented to Sang Shin, CEO of Able Labs Co., Ltd.
The New Leader Awards in Fusion recognize young leaders in their 20s and 30s who integrate life sciences, medicine, robotics, artificial intelligence, and other disciplines to create new research environments and industrial ecosystems. In an era where technological boundaries are rapidly disappearing, the ability to connect diverse fields and generate new value has become a defining competitive advantage.
The award was presented to Sang Shin, CEO of Able Labs Co., Ltd. The Organizing Committee highly recognized his contribution to strengthening Korea's biomedical research capabilities through the localization of laboratory automation technologies and the commercialization of research achievements.
New Leader Awards in Environment Presented to Prof. Min-Hyun Lee of Yonsei University
The New Leader Awards in Environment recognize young leaders in their 20s and 30s who have contributed to sustainable development through environmental research and technological innovation. As climate change and carbon neutrality become global priorities, research promoting sustainable technologies is increasingly regarded as a key driver of future competitiveness.
This year's recipient is Prof. Min-Hyun Lee of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Yonsei University.
Korea Health & Welfare Policy Forum to Open at 1:00 p.m.
The Korea Health & Welfare Policy Forum, under the theme "Policy Proposals for Enhancing Public Health and Building a Sustainable Health and Welfare System," will be held at 1:00 p.m. on September 11, 2026, in the Main Conference Hall of the National Assembly Members' Office Building.
The forum will bring together experts from various sectors to discuss major policy issues, including public health promotion, responses to a super-aged society, regional healthcare, and digital healthcare. Presentations and panel discussions will explore practical policy directions for the sustainable development of Korea's health and welfare system.
The 4th New Leaders Awards for Future Generation ceremony will follow at 2:00 p.m.
