목적 (Purpose)

 

SEC 평가지표 체계(110개 세부평가지표)(SEC Indicator System (110 Detailed Evaluation Indicators))는 6대 평가부문(6 Major Evaluation Domains)과 14개 하위평가항목(14 SEC Strategic Pillars)을 객관적이고 일관된 기준에 따라 평가하기 위하여 개발된 표준 평가체계이다. 이 체계는 조직의 책임경영 수준을 체계적으로 분석하고 비교할 수 있도록 평가기준을 세분화하여, 평가의 객관성과 신뢰성을 높이는 것을 목적으로 한다.

The SEC Indicator System (110 Detailed Evaluation Indicators) is a standardized evaluation framework developed to assess the 6 Major Evaluation Domains and 14 SEC Strategic Pillars using objective and consistent criteria. By translating broad evaluation concepts into structured assessment indicators, the system enables systematic analysis and comparison of Responsible Management while enhancing the objectivity and credibility of evaluation results.

평가지표 체계는 책임경영의 개념을 실제 평가에 적용할 수 있도록 구체적인 평가기준으로 체계화한 것이다. 각 세부평가지표는 조직의 정책, 제도, 운영체계, 실행성과 및 지속적인 개선 수준을 종합적으로 확인하기 위한 기준으로 활용되며, 모든 평가는 동일한 원칙과 절차에 따라 수행된다.

The Indicator System translates the principles of Responsible Management into practical evaluation criteria. Each Detailed Evaluation Indicator serves as a benchmark for assessing organizational policies, governance systems, operational practices, implementation outcomes, and continuous improvement, ensuring that all evaluations are conducted under common principles and standardized procedures.

SEC 평가지표 체계는 특정 산업이나 조직 형태에 한정되지 않고 다양한 기업과 공공기관에 적용할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 또한 정량적 자료와 정성적 자료를 함께 활용하여 조직의 책임경영 수준을 균형 있게 평가하며, 동일한 기준을 적용함으로써 평가결과의 객관성, 비교가능성 및 일관성을 확보하도록 구성되어 있다.

The SEC Indicator System is designed for application across diverse corporations and public institutions rather than being limited to a specific industry or organizational type. It combines quantitative and qualitative evidence to achieve balanced evaluations while applying uniform standards that ensure objectivity, comparability, and consistency of assessment results.

SEC 평가지표 체계는 6대 평가부문(6 Major Evaluation Domains)과 14개 하위평가항목(14 SEC Strategic Pillars)을 실제 평가로 연결하는 핵심 운영체계이다. 각 세부평가지표를 통해 수집·분석된 평가결과는 조직의 책임경영 수준을 객관적으로 판단하는 기초자료로 활용되며, 이후 SEC 핵심가치지표(31개 핵심가치지표, CVIs)(SEC Core Value Indicators (31 Core Value Indicators, CVIs)), WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)(WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI)), SEC WFSRI Rating, SEC WFSRI Certification의 산출과 운영으로 이어진다.

The SEC Indicator System serves as the operational framework that translates the 6 Major Evaluation Domains and 14 SEC Strategic Pillars into practical assessments. The evaluation results generated through the Detailed Evaluation Indicators provide the objective foundation for assessing Responsible Management and subsequently support the calculation and operation of the SEC Core Value Indicators (31 Core Value Indicators, CVIs), the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), the SEC WFSRI Rating, and the SEC WFSRI Certification.
