1. 본 장의 목적
Purpose of this Chapter

 

본 장은 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 구성하는 6대 평가부문(Six Major Evaluation Categories)과 14개 하위항목(Fourteen Sub-Categories)의 구성체계, 평가목적 및 기본 방향을 설명하기 위한 공식 해설서이다.

This chapter serves as the official guide to the structure, evaluation objectives, and fundamental directions of the Six Major Evaluation Categories and Fourteen Sub-Categories that constitute the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI).

 

WFSRI는 책임경영을 단일 요소가 아닌 다양한 핵심가치의 균형을 통하여 평가하도록 설계된 종합 평가체계이다.

The WFSRI is designed as a comprehensive evaluation framework that assesses Responsible Management through a balanced consideration of multiple core values rather than a single factor.

 

6대 평가부문은 조직의 책임경영 수준을 종합적으로 평가하기 위한 최상위 평가영역이며, 각 평가부문은 상호 유기적으로 연계되어 지속가능한 성장역량과 장기적인 가치창출 역량을 평가한다.

The Six Major Evaluation Categories represent the highest-level assessment domains for Responsible Management. Each Category is interconnected to evaluate sustainable growth capability and long-term value creation.

 

각 평가부문은 14개 하위항목으로 구성되며, 하위항목은 다시 110개 세부평가지표를 통하여 구체적으로 평가된다.

Each Evaluation Category consists of Fourteen Sub-Categories, which are further assessed through 110 Detailed Evaluation Indicators.

 

평가결과는 SEC WFSRI Rating과 SEC WFSRI Certification의 기초자료로 활용된다.

The evaluation results provide the basis for the SEC WFSRI Rating and the SEC WFSRI Certification.

 

본 장은 평가부문의 기본 개념과 평가 방향을 설명하는 공식 기준문서이며, 세부평가지표의 공식 명칭과 구성은 「부록 II. WFSRI 110개 세부평가지표」에 따른다.

This chapter serves as the official reference for explaining the fundamental concepts and evaluation directions of the Evaluation Categories. The official titles and structure of the Detailed Evaluation Indicators are presented in Appendix II. WFSRI 110 Detailed Evaluation Indicators.

 

 

2. 평가부문의 구성
Structure of the Evaluation Categories

 

WFSRI는 책임경영을 균형 있고 종합적으로 평가하기 위하여 다음의 6대 평가부문으로 구성된다.

The WFSRI is organized into the following Six Major Evaluation Categories to provide a balanced and comprehensive evaluation of Responsible Management.

각 평가부문은 서로 독립된 영역이 아니라 하나의 통합된 책임경영 평가체계를 구성하며, 조직의 지속가능성과 사회적 책임을 다각적으로 평가한다.

Each Evaluation Category forms part of an integrated Responsible Management Evaluation Framework rather than operating independently, enabling a multidimensional assessment of organizational sustainability and social responsibility.

 

 

3. 제Ⅰ평가부문 (Category I)
친환경 기술 개발·혁신 및 탄소배출 저감

평가부문 개요 (Overview)

제Ⅰ평가부문은 친환경 기술 개발과 혁신, 탄소배출 저감, 탄소중립 실천 및 기후변화 대응 역량을 종합적으로 평가하는 영역이다. 또한 지속가능한 환경경영과 미래세대를 위한 환경책임 이행 수준을 함께 평가한다.

Category I evaluates organizational capabilities in eco-friendly technology development and innovation, carbon emission reduction, carbon neutrality, and climate change response. It also assesses sustainable environmental management and the fulfillment of environmental responsibilities for future generations.

 

평가목적 (Evaluation Objective)

조직이 환경문제를 단순한 규제 대응이 아니라 지속가능한 성장전략의 핵심 요소로 인식하고, 친환경 기술혁신과 탄소중립을 통하여 장기적인 경쟁력을 확보하고 있는지를 평가하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

This Category evaluates whether organizations recognize environmental responsibility as a strategic driver of sustainable growth and strengthen long-term competitiveness through eco-friendly innovation and carbon neutrality.

제Ⅱ평가부문은 환경경영 체계와 지속가능경영 기반을 구축하고 조직 전반에 지속가능성을 내재화하는 수준을 평가하는 영역이다.

Category II evaluates the establishment of environmental management systems and sustainable management practices that integrate sustainability throughout the organization.

 

평가목적 (Evaluation Objective)

환경경영과 지속가능경영을 조직의 경영전략과 운영체계에 체계적으로 반영하고, 장기적인 지속가능성을 실현할 수 있는 기반을 구축하고 있는지를 평가하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

This Category evaluates whether organizations systematically integrate environmental and sustainable management into their strategies and operations to support long-term sustainability.

제Ⅲ평가부문은 인권 보호, 평등과 다양성 실현, 미래세대 보호 및 사회적 약자 보호를 위한 조직의 정책과 실천 수준을 종합적으로 평가하는 영역이다.

Category III evaluates organizational policies and practices relating to human rights protection, equality, diversity, protection of future generations, and support for socially vulnerable groups.

 

평가목적 (Evaluation Objective)

조직이 인간의 존엄성과 기본권을 존중하고 다양성과 포용성을 조직문화에 정착시켜 지속가능한 사회적 가치를 실현하고 있는지를 평가하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

평가목적 (Evaluation Objective)
