WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS(WFPL) originates from the International Youth Institute (formerly the International Youth Research Institute, PRESIDENT LEE SAN-HA) established on January 11, 2007, and through the 17 metropolitan and provincial branches and the regional federations in Korea and regional federations from around the world with WORLD PRESS ASSOCIATION(WPA), and in cooperation with enthusiastic, talented young men and women, actively participates in solving the crisis arising from the structural conflicts in the society. It aims to orient toward ‘the living-together world’ where the socially weak are not neglected and the culture of participation and communication is widely spread. |

PURPOSE OF 'KC AWARDS'
The “KC Awards” aims to honor and promote deeds of people who have contributed to the establishment of safety culture in each field of this society. With the goal to improve the problems of our society prevailing in fields such as safety, human rights, environment and health, and to improve unjust social phenomena in the world, the award ultimately aims creation of healthy, just society and pleasant culture in the world.

RECOMMENDATION QUALIFICATIONS
① Korean
② Any government agencies, local governments and public institutions such as schools, etc.
③ Any public institutions including embassies, schools, etc. in the world

① A letter of recommendation (under given form)
② Public record in a page length and related documents (no form given)

NOMINEE EVALUATION AND DECISION & CONFIDENTIALITY DURATION
Judging committee affiliated with KC Awards organizing committee
For fair and objective examination, the KC Awards committee is organized.
The committee consists of professionals from the fields of science, business, legal, environmental, educational, human rights, health, medicine, and civil
society.
Principles of selection
① The examination of the nominee shall proceed according to fair and objective criteria
② The selection of candidates of each section is aimed at finding candidates that meet the purpose of the award
③ If there is no suitable candidate, the winner may not be selected
④ Even after the selection of the winners, those whose dignity is impaired due to social problems may be expelled
CONFIDENTIALITY DURATION: 30 years
The contents of the process in selecting awardee, such as; the contents of recommendations, the person who judged the recommendation,
and the nominee being judged in the selection process are made confidential for 30years
