세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL) 홈페이지를 방문해 주신 여러분을 진심으로 환영합니다.

 

세계는 지금 기후변화와 경제적 불확실성, 사회적 갈등, 디지털 기술의 급속한 발전에 따른 새로운 윤리적 과제 등 이전과는 다른 복합적인 도전에 직면해 있습니다. 이러한 문제들은 어느 한 개인이나 특정 조직만의 노력으로 해결할 수 있는 문제가 아니라 사회 전체가 함께 고민하고 협력해야 할 시대적 과제입니다.

 

세계청년리더총연맹은 이러한 시대적 변화 속에서 열정을 가진 청년 인재들과 함께 사회의 구조적 모순에서 발생하는 다양한 위기와 시대적 과제를 해결하는 데 기여함은 물론, 사회와 국가의 새로운 활력 제고에 이바지하는 것을 중요한 사명으로 삼고 있습니다. 또한 사회적 약자가 소외되지 않고 참여와 소통의 문화가 확산되어 '더불어 함께하는 세상'을 구현하는 데 가치를 두고 있습니다.

 

 

사회혁신에서 책임경영으로

 

WFPL은 설립 초기 학교폭력 예방과 청소년 인권 보호, 건강한 교육환경 조성을 위한 다양한 공익활동을 전개하였습니다.

 

그러나 이러한 활동을 지속하는 과정에서 우리는 학교폭력과 인권 문제 역시 사회의 구조와 문화, 그리고 조직의 책임의식과 깊이 연결되어 있다는 사실을 확인하였습니다.

 

이러한 경험은 사회문제를 근본적으로 해결하기 위해서는 기업과 공공기관, 언론과 연구기관, 지역사회와 시민 모두가 각자의 역할과 책임을 다하는 사회를 만들어야 한다는 확신으로 이어졌습니다.

 

이것이 바로 WFPL이 사회혁신을 넘어 책임경영을 핵심 가치로 발전시키게 된 배경입니다.

 

 

책임경영을 통한 지속가능한 미래

 

오늘날 지속가능한 사회는 책임 있는 조직으로부터 시작됩니다.

 

기업과 공공기관이 공공가치를 존중하고 사회적 책임을 실천하며, 객관적인 평가를 통해 지속적으로 개선해 나갈 때 사회 전체의 신뢰와 지속가능성 또한 함께 높아질 수 있습니다.

 

이러한 철학을 실천하기 위하여 WFPL은 기업·공공기관 평가전문기관인 SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)를 중심으로 책임경영 평가체계를 운영하고 있으며, 책임경영 문화 확산과 공공가치 실현을 위한 다양한 연구와 활동을 지속적으로 추진하고 있습니다.

 

우리가 추구하는 평가는 경쟁을 위한 평가가 아니라 더 나은 사회를 만들기 위한 공익적 평가이며, 조직의 현재를 진단하는 것을 넘어 미래의 지속가능한 발전을 지원하는 책임 있는 평가입니다.

 

 

함께 만드는 글로벌 공익 플랫폼

 

WFPL은 책임경영 평가뿐만 아니라 언론, 정책연구, 국제협력을 유기적으로 연계하는 국제 공익 플랫폼으로 발전하고 있습니다.

 

세계언론협회(WPA)는 건강한 언론문화와 공공여론 형성에 기여하고 있으며, 국제정책연구원(IPI)은 정책과 평가체계 연구를 통하여 사회혁신의 기반을 마련하고 있습니다. 또한 WIC(World Innovative Contribution Council)는 세계 각국의 우수한 인물과 기관, 기업 및 혁신사례를 조사·비교·분석하여 국제사회와 공유하는 글로벌 플랫폼으로 발전해 나가고 있습니다.

 

우리는 이러한 전문기관들과의 협력을 통하여 공공가치와 책임경영이 국제사회 전반으로 확산될 수 있도록 지속적으로 노력할 것입니다.

세계청년리더총연맹은 앞으로도 정치적 중립성과 공익성을 바탕으로 사회의 구조적 문제 해결과 지속가능한 발전에 기여하는 국제 공익 플랫폼으로서의 역할을 성실히 수행해 나가겠습니다.

Responsibility for the Future, Building Public Value Together

 

 

Dear Citizens and Global Citizens,

 

Welcome to the official website of the World Federation of Power Leaders (WFPL).

 

Today, the world faces increasingly complex challenges, including climate change, economic uncertainty, social conflict, rapid digital transformation, and the ethical questions arising from technological innovation. These challenges cannot be solved by governments, businesses, or individuals alone. They require shared responsibility, international cooperation, and a collective commitment to the public good.

 

The World Federation of Power Leaders (WFPL) was founded on the belief that passionate young leaders can play a meaningful role in addressing the diverse crises and structural challenges confronting our societies. Together with talented young people around the world, WFPL strives not only to contribute to resolving the structural contradictions that give rise to social challenges, but also to promote renewed vitality for society and nations. We are equally committed to building "a world together"—a society in which no socially vulnerable person is left behind and where participation, communication, and mutual respect flourish.

 

 

From Social Innovation to Responsible Management

 

In its early years, WFPL focused its public-interest activities on preventing school violence, protecting the human rights of young people, and fostering safe and healthy educational environments.

 

Through these efforts, we came to recognize that issues such as school violence and human rights are not isolated phenomena. Rather, they are deeply connected to broader social structures, organizational culture, and the sense of responsibility shared by all members of society.

 

This realization led us to a broader conviction: lasting solutions to structural social challenges require responsible organizations, responsible leadership, and a society that values public responsibility. From this conviction emerged WFPL's philosophy of Responsible Management, which has become one of the organization's defining principles.

 

 

Responsible Management for a Sustainable Future

 

A sustainable society begins with responsible organizations.

 

When corporations and public institutions embrace public value, fulfill their social responsibilities, and continuously improve through objective evaluation, they contribute not only to their own long-term development but also to the trust and sustainability of society as a whole.

 

To put this philosophy into practice, WFPL established the Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) as its specialized institution for evaluating responsible management in corporations and public institutions. Through SEC, WFPL promotes responsible management, objective evaluation, and sustainable organizational development as essential foundations for a better future.

 

For us, evaluation is not merely a tool for comparison or competition. It is a public-interest instrument that encourages continuous improvement, strengthens accountability, and creates long-term value for society.

 

 

A Global Platform for Public Value

 

Today, WFPL continues to grow as an international public-interest platform by integrating responsible management evaluation, media, policy research, and global cooperation.

 

The World Press Association (WPA) promotes responsible journalism and public-interest media. The International Policy Institute (IPI) advances policy research and evaluation methodologies that support social innovation. The World Innovative Contribution Council (WIC) identifies, analyzes, and shares outstanding individuals, organizations, corporations, and innovative practices from around the world, fostering international cooperation and the exchange of best practices.

 

Together, these specialized institutions form a collaborative framework through which WFPL seeks to advance public value on a global scale.

 

 

Our Commitment to the Future

 

Looking ahead, WFPL will continue to uphold political neutrality, public responsibility, and international cooperation while contributing to the resolution of structural social challenges and the realization of sustainable development.

 

We believe that the progress of society is more important than the growth of any single organization; that the well-being of future generations is more valuable than short-term success; that cooperation is stronger than competition; and that public value must always take precedence over private interest.
