세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL, WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS, 이하 세계총연맹)은 지난 2007년 1월11일 설립된 '국제청소년연구원 (구. 국제청소년연구소, 초대 대표 이산하<李山河>)'을 모태로 한 비영리 정치적 중립기구로, 세계총연맹 부설 언론기관인 세계언론협회(WPA, WORLD PRESS ASSOCIATION)와 전국 17개 광역시•도 지부연맹 및 세계 각 국가의 지부연맹을 통해서 열정을 가진 청년인재들과 함께 사회의 구조적 모순에서 일어나는 위기상황을 해결해 나가는데 기여하고 있다. 또한 세계 각국 간의 교류와 협력을 통해 사회적 약자가 소외 받지 않고 참여와 소통의 문화가 확산돼 ’더불어 함께하는 세상'을 열어 가는데 가치를 두고 있다. |

세계 공공가치 확산을 위한 역사적인 국제 공익 프로젝트
WIC AWARDS(World Innovative Contribution Awards)는 세계혁신공헌위원회(WIC, World Innovation & Contribution Committee)가 2017년부터 추진한 대표적인 국제 공익 프로젝트로서, 세계 각 분야에서 인류사회 발전과 공공가치 실현에 기여한 우수한 인물과 기관을 발굴하여 국제사회에 소개하기 위하여 운영되었다. The WIC Awards (World Innovative Contribution Awards) were the flagship international public-interest project launched by the World Innovation & Contribution Committee (WIC) in 2017 to identify and introduce outstanding individuals and organizations whose contributions advanced humanity and promoted public value across diverse fields.
WIC AWARDS는 특정 국가나 조직의 이해관계를 대변하지 않고 정치적 중립성과 공익성을 바탕으로 세계평화, 인권, 환경, 경제, 과학, 교육, 보건, 사회공헌 및 문화 등 다양한 분야의 우수사례를 국제사회에 소개함으로써 국제협력과 공공가치 확산에 기여하였다. Maintaining political neutrality and serving the public interest rather than the interests of any particular nation or organization, the WIC Awards introduced exemplary achievements in world peace, human rights, the environment, the economy, science, education, healthcare, social contribution, and culture, thereby contributing to international cooperation and the promotion of public value.
2017년 제1회, 2019년 제2회, 2020년 제3회 WIC AWARDS를 통하여 축적된 조사 경험과 운영철학은 오늘날 WIC의 '세계 우수사례 선정(Global Selection)' 운영체계로 이어지는 중요한 역사적 기반이 되었다. The research experience and operational philosophy accumulated through the First (2017), Second (2019), and Third (2020) WIC Awards became the historical foundation for WIC's current Global Selection framework.
오늘날 WIC는 WIC AWARDS의 역사와 철학을 계승하여 세계 각국의 우수한 정책과 제도, 인물, 기관, 기업 및 혁신사례를 지속적으로 조사·비교·분석하고 국제사회와 공유하는 국제 공익 플랫폼으로서의 역할을 이어가고 있다. Today, WIC continues the legacy and philosophy of the WIC Awards by serving as an international public-interest platform that researches, compares, analyzes, and shares outstanding public policies, institutions, individuals, corporations, and innovative practices from around the world.

본 메뉴에 수록된 내용은 2017년부터 2020년까지 개최된 WIC AWARDS의 공식 운영자료와 기록을 바탕으로 구성한 역사 아카이브이다.
