세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL, WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS, 이하 세계총연맹)은 지난 2007년 1월11일 설립된 '국제청소년연구원 (구. 국제청소년연구소, 초대 대표 이산하<李山河>)'을 모태로 한 비영리 정치적 중립기구로, 세계총연맹 부설 언론기관인 세계언론협회(WPA, WORLD PRESS ASSOCIATION)와 전국 17개 광역시•도 지부연맹 및 세계 각 국가의 지부연맹을 통해서 열정을 가진 청년인재들과 함께 사회의 구조적 모순에서 일어나는 위기상황을 해결해 나가는데 기여하고 있다. 또한 세계 각국 간의 교류와 협력을 통해 사회적 약자가 소외 받지 않고 참여와 소통의 문화가 확산돼 ’더불어 함께하는 세상'을 열어 가는데 가치를 두고 있다. |

학교폭력 추방을 위한 1,000만인 서명운동은 학교폭력과 청소년 유해환경을 예방하고 모든 학생이 안전하고 행복한 교육환경에서 성장할 수 있도록 국민과 세계시민의 자발적인 참여를 바탕으로 추진하는 세계학교폭력추방본부(SVEH)의 대표적인 공익 캠페인이다. The Ten Million Signature Campaign for the Eradication of School Violence is SVEH's flagship public-interest campaign, encouraging voluntary participation by citizens in Korea and around the world to prevent school violence and harmful youth environments while ensuring that every student can grow in a safe and supportive educational environment.
학교폭력은 학교만의 문제가 아니라 우리 사회 전체가 함께 해결해야 할 공동의 과제라는 인식 아래, 국민 모두가 학교폭력 예방과 청소년 보호를 위한 실천에 동참하는 사회적 참여 문화를 확산하는 것을 목표로 한다. Recognizing that school violence is a shared responsibility of society rather than an issue for schools alone, the campaign seeks to encourage broad public participation in preventing school violence and protecting young people.
추진 배경 (Background)
세계학교폭력추방본부(SVEH)는 학교폭력 예방과 청소년 보호를 위해서는 정부와 학교뿐만 아니라 가정, 지역사회, 기업, 시민사회가 함께 참여하는 국민참여형 예방운동이 필요하다는 철학 아래 1,000만인 서명운동을 추진하고 있다. SVEH launched the campaign based on the belief that preventing school violence requires active participation not only from governments and schools, but also from families, local communities, businesses, and civil society.
최근에는 사이버폭력과 청소년 도박, 디지털 유해환경 등 새로운 사회문제까지 포함하여 미래세대를 보호하기 위한 국민적 공감대 형성과 실천운동으로 확대해 나가고 있다. More recently, the campaign has expanded to address emerging challenges such as cyberbullying, youth gambling, and harmful digital environments, fostering public awareness and collective action to protect future generations.
추진 목적 (Objectives)
1,000만인 서명운동은 학교폭력 예방과 청소년 보호를 위한 국민적 공감대를 확산하고, 학생들이 안전하고 행복한 교육환경에서 성장할 수 있도록 사회 전체의 관심과 참여를 이끌어내는 것을 목적으로 한다. The campaign aims to strengthen public awareness of school violence prevention and youth protection while encouraging active participation from all sectors of society in creating safe and supportive educational environments.
또한 학교폭력 예방과 청소년 도박 예방, 건강한 학교문화 조성, 청소년 인권 보호를 위한 다양한 정책과 실천운동을 지속적으로 추진하는 기반을 마련하고자 한다. It also provides a foundation for sustained policy initiatives and public campaigns promoting school violence prevention, youth gambling prevention, healthy school culture, and the protection of youth rights.
참여 방법 (How to Participate)
국민 누구나 학교폭력 예방과 청소년 보호의 중요성에 공감하는 마음으로 서명운동에 참여할 수 있으며, 학교와 가정, 지역사회, 기업 및 각종 기관·단체가 함께 참여하는 사회적 실천운동으로 확대해 나가고 있다. Anyone who supports the importance of preventing school violence and protecting young people is encouraged to participate. The campaign continues to expand through the involvement of schools, families, local communities, businesses, and organizations.
