세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL, WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS, 이하 세계총연맹)은 지난 2007년 1월11일 설립된 '국제청소년연구원 (구. 국제청소년연구소, 초대 대표 이산하<李山河>)'을 모태로 한 비영리 정치적 중립기구로, 세계총연맹 부설 언론기관인 세계언론협회(WPA, WORLD PRESS ASSOCIATION)와 전국 17개 광역시•도 지부연맹 및 세계 각 국가의 지부연맹을 통해서 열정을 가진 청년인재들과 함께 사회의 구조적 모순에서 일어나는 위기상황을 해결해 나가는데 기여하고 있다. 또한 세계 각국 간의 교류와 협력을 통해 사회적 약자가 소외 받지 않고 참여와 소통의 문화가 확산돼 ’더불어 함께하는 세상'을 열어 가는데 가치를 두고 있다. |

세계혁신공헌위원회(WIC, World Innovation & Contribution Committee)는 세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL)이 운영하는 국제 공익 플랫폼으로서, 세계 각국의 우수한 정책과 제도, 인물, 기관, 기업 및 혁신사례를 객관적으로 조사·비교·분석하여 국제사회와 공유함으로써 공공가치 확산과 지속가능한 발전, 그리고 국제협력 증진에 기여하는 것을 목적으로 운영되고 있다. The World Innovation & Contribution Committee (WIC) is an international public-interest platform operated by the World Federation of Power Leaders (WFPL). It is dedicated to objectively researching, comparing, analyzing, and sharing outstanding public policies, institutions, individuals, corporations, and innovative practices from around the world, thereby promoting public value, sustainable development, and international cooperation.
WIC는 세계평화, 인권, 환경, 경제, 과학, AI·디지털혁신, 교육, 보건, 사회공헌 및 문화 등 10개 분야에서 인류사회 발전에 기여한 우수사례를 지속적으로 조사·비교·분석하여 국제사회와 공유하는 것을 기본 사명으로 한다. WIC's fundamental mission is to continuously research, compare, analyze, and share outstanding practices that have contributed to the advancement of humanity across ten fields: world peace, human rights, the environment, the economy, science, AI & digital innovation, education, healthcare, social contribution, and culture.
또한 세계 각국의 모범적인 정책과 제도, 혁신사례 및 공익적 성과를 지속적으로 축적하고 공유함으로써 정부와 공공기관, 기업, 연구기관 및 시민사회가 서로 배우고 협력할 수 있는 국제 공익 지식플랫폼(Global Public-Interest Knowledge Platform)을 구축하는 데 기여하고 있다. WIC also contributes to building a Global Public-Interest Knowledge Platform by continuously documenting and sharing exemplary public policies, institutional innovations, and public-interest achievements, enabling governments, public institutions, corporations, research organizations, and civil society to learn from one another and strengthen international cooperation.
WIC는 단순한 시상기관이 아니라 세계 우수사례를 객관적으로 조사·비교·분석하여 국제사회와 공유하는 국제 공익 플랫폼이다. 이를 통하여 국가와 기관, 기업 및 시민사회가 서로의 우수사례를 참고하고 활용할 수 있도록 지원하며, 공공가치 확산과 책임 있는 사회 발전, 지속가능한 미래를 위한 국제적 협력을 촉진하는 것을 지향한다. Rather than serving simply as an awards organization, WIC functions as an international public-interest platform that objectively researches, compares, analyzes, and shares outstanding global practices. Through this work, WIC supports governments, institutions, corporations, and civil society in learning from exemplary practices while promoting public value, responsible social development, sustainable futures, and international cooperation.
WIC는 설립 이후 'WIC AWARDS(World Innovative Contribution Awards)'를 통하여 세계 각 분야의 우수한 인물과 기관을 국제사회에 소개해 왔으며, 앞으로도 그 역사와 철학을 계승하여 '세계 우수사례 선정(Global Selection)' 운영체계를 중심으로 세계 각국의 우수사례를 지속적으로 조사·비교·분석하고 국제사회와 공유함으로써, 분야별 'WIC Global TOP 10'을 정기적으로 발표하는 국제 공익 플랫폼으로서의 역할을 이어갈 것이다. Since its establishment, WIC has introduced outstanding individuals and organizations from around the world through the WIC Awards (World Innovative Contribution Awards). Building upon its history and philosophy, WIC will continue its role as an international public-interest platform through its Global Selection framework by conducting ongoing research, comparative analysis, and international sharing of outstanding global practices, while establishing the regular publication of the WIC Global TOP 10 across its respective fields as one of its principal public-interest initiatives.
