The Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) comprehensively evaluates the ESG capabilities and responsible management performance of public institutions, public enterprises, and corporations based on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) and grants SEC Certifications to outstanding organizations.

SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)가 운영하는 인증제도는 공공기관·공기업·기업의 책임경영 수준과 지속가능경영 역량을 객관적으로 평가하고 우수기관을 공식적으로 인증하기 위하여 운영되는 제도이다.

 

The Certification Program operated by the Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) is designed to objectively evaluate the responsible management performance and sustainability capabilities of public institutions, public enterprises, and corporations and to officially recognize outstanding organizations.

 

SEC 인증은 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 기반으로 한 평가 결과를 토대로 부여되며, ESG 가치뿐만 아니라 인권(Human Rights), 디지털윤리(Digital Ethics), 공동체가치(Community Value), 미래세대 보호(Future Generations Protection) 및 공공성을 함께 반영한다.

 

SEC Certifications are granted based on evaluation results derived from the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), reflecting not only ESG values but also Human Rights, Digital Ethics, Community Value, Future Generations Protection, and Public Value.

SEC 인증 대상은 공공기관, 공기업, 준정부기관, 지방공기업 및 기업으로 한다.

 

SEC Certification is available to public institutions, public enterprises, quasi-governmental organizations, local public enterprises, and corporations.

 

공기업평가위원회(SEC)는 평가 결과를 바탕으로 인증기준을 충족한 기관을 선정한다.

 

The SEC selects organizations that satisfy certification standards based on evaluation results.

 

 

인증 원칙
Certification Principles

① 독립성 원칙 (Principle of Independence)

 

인증은 기관의 신청 여부와 관계없이 공기업평가위원회(SEC)의 독립적 평가 결과에 따라 결정된다.

Certification decisions are made based on the SEC's independent evaluation results regardless of whether an organization has applied for certification.

 

② 공정성 원칙 (Principle of Fairness)

 

모든 기관은 동일한 기준과 절차에 따라 평가된다.

All organizations are evaluated according to the same standards and procedures.

 

③ 객관성 원칙 (Principle of Objectivity)

 

인증은 객관적 자료와 검증 가능한 근거에 기반하여 부여된다.

Certification is based on objective information and verifiable evidence.

 

④ 투명성 원칙 (Principle of Transparency)

 

인증기준과 운영원칙은 공개된 기준에 따라 운영된다.

Certification standards and operational principles are administered according to publicly disclosed criteria.

 

⑤ 비영리 원칙 (Principle of Non-Profit Operation)

 

공기업평가위원회(SEC)는 평가와 인증의 독립성을 보장하기 위하여 평가대상 기관으로부터 평가결과 및 인증결정에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 평가비, 심사비, 인증비, 후원금, 찬조금, 협찬금 또는 기타 명목의 금전적 지원을 받지 아니한다.

 

To ensure the independence of evaluation and certification activities, the SEC shall not receive evaluation fees, review fees, certification fees, sponsorships, donations, contributions, or any other form of financial support from evaluated organizations that may influence evaluation results or certification decisions.

 

 

인증 기준
Certification Criteria

 

SEC 인증은 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 기반으로 한 종합평가 결과에 따라 부여된다.

 

SEC Certifications are granted based on comprehensive evaluations conducted under the WFSRI framework.

 

평가는 6개 평가부문(Category), 14개 하위항목(Sub-Category), 110개 세부지표(Detailed Indicators) 및 31개 핵심가치지표(Core Value Indicators)를 기반으로 실시된다.

 

Evaluations are conducted based on six Categories, fourteen Sub-Categories, 110 Detailed Indicators, and 31 Core Value Indicators.

The Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) may grant category-based certifications to organizations demonstrating outstanding performance in responsible management, ESG management, sustainability management, public value, social value, ethical management, accounting transparency, financial soundness, and other relevant areas based on evaluation results under the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI).

 

분야별 인증의 종류, 운영기준 및 부여방식은 공기업평가위원회(SEC)가 별도로 정한다.

 

The types, operational standards, and awarding procedures of category-based certifications shall be separately determined by the SEC.

 

 

인증서 수여
Awarding of Certificates

 

SEC는 인증기관으로 선정된 기관에 대하여 공식 인증서를 수여할 수 있다.

 

The Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) may award official certificates to organizations selected for certification.

 

 

인증서는 전자문서(Electronic Document) 형태 또는 공기업평가위원회(SEC)가 정하는 방식으로 제공될 수 있다.

 

Certificates may be provided in electronic document format or through other methods determined by the SEC.

 

인증서의 종류, 서식, 유효기간 및 운영기준은 공기업평가위원회(SEC)가 별도로 정한다.

 

The types, formats, validity periods, and operational standards of certificates shall be separately determined by the SEC.

 

 

 

평가결과 확인서
Evaluation Result Confirmation Certificate

 

 

SEC는 평가에 참여한 기관에 대하여 평가결과 확인서를 발급할 수 있다.

 

The Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) may issue an Evaluation Result Confirmation Certificate to participating organizations.

 

평가결과 확인서는 해당 기관의 평가결과, 인증 여부 및 인증 분야를 확인하는 공식 증빙자료로 활용될 수 있다.

 

The Evaluation Result Confirmation Certificate may serve as an official document verifying evaluation results, certification status, and certification categories.

 

평가결과 확인서의 발급기준, 서식 및 운영방법은 공기업평가위원회(SEC)가 별도로 정한다.

 

The issuance criteria, format, and operational procedures for the Evaluation Result Confirmation Certificate shall be separately determined by the SEC.

평가결과 및 인증은 사실에 근거한 범위 내에서만 활용할 수 있으며, SEC의 사전 승인 없이 내용을 왜곡하거나 허위로 사용할 수 없다.

 

Evaluation results and certifications may only be used within the scope of factual information and shall not be distorted or falsely represented without SEC approval.

 

인증기관은 인증 유효기간 동안 SEC가 정한 기준에 따라 인증명칭, 인증결과 및 인증마크를 활용할 수 있다.

 

Certified organizations may use certification titles, certification results, and certification marks during the validity period of certification in accordance with standards established by the SEC.

 

인증결과 및 인증마크는 기관 홈페이지, 지속가능경영보고서, ESG 보고서, 홍보자료, 기관소개서 및 기타 공식 문서에 활용할 수 있다.

 

Certification results and certification marks may be used on institutional websites, sustainability reports, ESG reports, promotional materials, corporate profiles, and other official documents.

 

인증기관은 인증의 범위를 초과하거나 오인될 수 있는 방식으로 인증결과 및 인증마크를 활용하여서는 아니 된다.

 

Certified organizations shall not use certification results or certification marks in a misleading manner or beyond the scope of certification.

Evaluation Analysis Report

 

SEC는 인증기관의 책임경영 수준 향상과 지속가능한 발전을 지원하기 위하여 평가결과 분석보고서를 제공할 수 있다.

 

The Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) may provide Evaluation Analysis Reports to support the improvement of responsible management performance and sustainable development of certified institutions.

 

평가결과 분석보고서에는 종합성과 분석, 평가부문별 성과, 주요 강점 및 개선 필요사항, 공공이슈 검토 결과 및 발전방향 등이 포함될 수 있다.

 

Evaluation Analysis Reports may include overall performance analysis, category-specific results, major strengths and areas for improvement, public issue review findings, and recommendations for future advancement.

 

 

 

 

인증 취소 및 제한
Revocation and Restriction of Certification

 

 

중대한 법규 위반, 회계부정, 부패행위, ESG 관련 중대한 이슈 또는 사회적 물의가 발생한 경우 인증 유지 여부를 재검토할 수 있다.

 

The SEC may review certification validity where serious legal violations, accounting misconduct, corruption, major ESG issues, or significant social controversies arise.

 

허위자료 제출, 평가결과 왜곡 활용 또는 SEC의 명예와 신뢰를 훼손하는 행위가 확인된 경우 인증 취소 또는 인증 사용 제한 조치를 할 수 있다.

 

Certification may be revoked or restricted where false information is submitted, evaluation results are misrepresented, or actions damage the reputation and credibility of the SEC.
