SEC WFSRI Rating System

 

 

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)가 운영하는 공식 책임경영 평가등급 체계로서, WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)의 평가결과를 바탕으로 기업 및 공공기관의 책임경영 수준을 객관적이고 체계적으로 평가하여 공식 평가등급을 부여하는 제도이다.

The SEC WFSRI Rating is the official Responsible Management Rating System operated by the Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC). Based on the evaluation results of the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), it objectively and systematically assesses the responsible management performance of corporations and public institutions and assigns official ratings.

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 WFSRI의 평가철학과 평가원칙을 기반으로 운영되며, 조직의 지속가능성(Sustainability), 책임경영(Responsible Management), 비재무 리스크 관리역량(Non-Financial Risk Management Capability), 혁신역량(Innovation Capability) 및 장기 가치창출 역량(Long-Term Value Creation Potential)을 종합적으로 반영하여 평가등급을 산정한다.

The SEC WFSRI Rating is operated in accordance with the evaluation philosophy and principles of the WFSRI. Ratings are determined through a comprehensive assessment of Sustainability, Responsible Management, Non-Financial Risk Management Capability, Innovation Capability, and Long-Term Value Creation Potential.

 

평가는 6대 평가부문(Six Major Evaluation Categories), 14개 하위항목(Fourteen Sub-Categories), 110개 세부지표(110 Detailed Indicators) 및 31개 핵심가치지표(Core Value Indicators, CVI)를 기반으로 수행되며, 객관적으로 검증 가능한 공개자료를 중심으로 증거기반평가(Evidence-Based Evaluation) 원칙에 따라 이루어진다.

Evaluations are conducted on the basis of the Six Major Evaluation Categories, Fourteen Sub-Categories, 110 Detailed Indicators, and 31 Core Value Indicators (CVI). The assessment follows the principle of Evidence-Based Evaluation, relying primarily on objectively verifiable publicly available information.

 

평가의 정확성과 신뢰성을 확보하기 위하여 필요시 사실확인(Factual Review), 자료검증(Data Verification) 및 이의신청(Appeal) 절차를 운영하며, 평가과정 전반에 걸쳐 객관성, 공정성, 독립성 및 투명성을 확보하도록 설계되어 있다.

To ensure the accuracy and credibility of the evaluation, SEC operates Factual Review, Data Verification, and Appeal procedures whenever necessary. The entire evaluation process is designed to uphold objectivity, fairness, independence, and transparency.

 

SEC는 평가의 독립성과 공정성을 확보하기 위하여 평가대상 기업 및 공공기관으로부터 평가비, 심사비, 인증비, 후원금, 협찬금 또는 기타 금전적 지원을 받지 않는 경제적 독립성(Financial Independence) 원칙을 유지하고 있다.

To safeguard independence and fairness, SEC adheres to the principle of Financial Independence and does not accept evaluation fees, review fees, certification fees, sponsorships, donations, or any other financial support from evaluated corporations or public institutions.

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 SEC ESG 평가등급 운영규정, SEC 평가결과 공표규정, SEC 사실확인(Factual Review) 운영규정, SEC 이의신청(Appeal) 심사규정, WFPL ESG 인증 운영규정, SEC 평가윤리규정 및 SEC 이해상충 방지규정을 기반으로 운영되며, 이를 통하여 평가 거버넌스의 객관성과 신뢰성을 확보한다.

The SEC WFSRI Rating is governed by the SEC ESG Rating Regulations, SEC Evaluation Result Disclosure Regulations, SEC Factual Review Regulations, SEC Appeal Review Regulations, WFPL ESG Certification Regulations, SEC Evaluation Ethics Regulations, and SEC Conflict of Interest Prevention Regulations, thereby ensuring a robust governance framework for objective and credible evaluations.

 

평가결과는 SEC WFSRI Rating과 함께 등급별 인증마크를 부여할 수 있으며, ESG·WFSRI 평가분석센터를 통하여 평가결과와 분석자료를 공개할 수 있다. 또한 평가결과는 WFPL ESG 인증제도와 연계하여 우수 기업 및 공공기관에 대한 인증의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.

Evaluation results may be accompanied by rating-specific Certification Marks and published through the ESG·WFSRI Evaluation & Analysis Center together with analytical information. The results may also serve as the basis for certification under the WFPL ESG Certification System.

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 단순한 평가등급 제도를 넘어 평가(Evaluation), 분석(Analysis) 및 인증(Certification) 기능을 통합한 책임경영 평가체계로 운영되며, 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능한 성장, 책임경영 실천 및 사회적 가치 실현을 지원하는 것을 목표로 한다.

The SEC WFSRI Rating operates as an integrated Responsible Management Evaluation Framework that combines Evaluation, Analysis, and Certification. Its objective is to support sustainable growth, responsible management, and the realization of social value among corporations and public institutions.

 

SEC는 앞으로도 SEC WFSRI Rating을 지속적으로 고도화하고 국제적 활용성과 정합성을 강화하여 국제적으로 신뢰받는 책임경영 평가등급 체계를 구축하고, 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능한 성장과 책임경영 문화 확산에 기여해 나갈 것이다.
