1. WFSRI의 정의
Definition of the WFSRI

 

 

WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)는 SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)가 개발·운영하는 공식 책임경영 평가체계로서, 기업 및 공공기관(Corporations and Public Institutions)의 지속가능한 성장(Sustainable Growth), 미래 성장 가능성(Future Growth Potential), 혁신역량(Innovation Capability), 장기 가치창출 역량(Long-Term Value Creation Potential) 및 책임경영(Responsible Management) 수준을 종합적으로 평가하기 위하여 개발된 통합 책임경영 평가체계이다.

The WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) is the official Responsible Management Evaluation Framework developed and operated by the Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC). It is an integrated framework designed to comprehensively evaluate the Sustainable Growth, Future Growth Potential, Innovation Capability, Long-Term Value Creation Potential, and Responsible Management Performance of Corporations and Public Institutions.

 

WFSRI는 기존 ESG(Environment, Social, Governance) 평가체계만으로는 충분히 반영하기 어려운 현대 사회의 새로운 책임경영 요구를 종합적으로 평가하기 위하여 개발된 차세대 책임경영 평가체계이다. ESG의 기본 영역을 넘어 공공가치(Public Value), 사회적 가치(Social Value), 공동체 가치(Community Value), 미래세대 보호(Protection of Future Generations), 디지털윤리(Digital Ethics), 혁신가치(Innovation Value) 및 미래 성장역량(Future Growth Capability)을 함께 반영함으로써 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능성, 책임경영 수준, 비재무 리스크 관리역량, 혁신역량 및 장기 가치창출 역량을 보다 입체적이고 미래지향적으로 평가한다.

The WFSRI is a next-generation Responsible Management Evaluation Framework developed to address the evolving responsible management challenges of modern society that are difficult to fully capture through conventional ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) frameworks alone. Going beyond the traditional ESG domains, it incorporates Public Value, Social Value, Community Value, Protection of Future Generations, Digital Ethics, Innovation Value, and Future Growth Capability to provide a more comprehensive and forward-looking assessment of the Sustainability, Responsible Management Performance, Non-Financial Risk Management Capability, Innovation Capability, and Long-Term Value Creation Potential of Corporations and Public Institutions.

 

WFSRI는 6대 평가부문(Six Major Evaluation Categories), 14개 하위항목(Fourteen Sub-Categories), 110개 세부지표(110 Detailed Indicators) 및 31개 핵심가치지표(Core Value Indicators, CVI)로 구성된 통합 책임경영 평가체계이다.

Through the WFSRI, SEC seeks to help corporations and public institutions embed Sustainability and Responsible Management into their management systems while strengthening future growth capability and long-term competitiveness, with the vision of developing the WFSRI into a globally recognized standard for Responsible Management evaluation.

WFSRI는 독립적이고 객관적인 평가를 기반으로 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능한 성장과 미래 경쟁력 강화를 지원하는 발전지향형 책임경영 평가체계이다. 조직의 현재 수준을 진단하는 데 그치지 않고 미래 성장 가능성과 장기 가치창출 역량을 함께 분석하여 지속적인 혁신과 경쟁력 강화를 지원하며, 기업가치(Corporate Value), 주주가치(Shareholder Value) 및 이해관계자 가치(Stakeholder Value)의 향상에 기여하는 것을 지향한다.

The WFSRI is a development-oriented Responsible Management Evaluation Framework that supports the sustainable growth and future competitiveness of corporations and public institutions through independent and objective evaluations. Beyond assessing current organizational performance, it analyzes future growth potential and long-term value creation capability to promote continuous innovation, stronger competitiveness, and the enhancement of Corporate Value, Shareholder Value, and Stakeholder Value.

 

SEC는 앞으로도 WFSRI를 지속적으로 발전시켜 기업 및 공공기관의 책임경영 수준 향상과 지속가능한 성장, 사회적 가치 창출 및 미래세대를 위한 책임 있는 경영문화 확산에 기여하는 국제적 수준의 책임경영 평가체계로 고도화해 나갈 것이다.

SEC will continue to advance the WFSRI into an internationally recognized Responsible Management Evaluation Framework that contributes to stronger responsible management, sustainable growth, social value creation, and the promotion of a responsible management culture for future generations.
