안녕하십니까.

 

SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)를 방문해 주신 여러분께 진심으로 감사드립니다.

 

오늘날 우리는 기후변화, 탄소중립, 친환경 기술혁신, 디지털 전환, 인공지능(AI)의 발전, 공급망 리스크, 인권 보호, 사이버 보안 및 윤리경영 강화 등 급격한 변화와 다양한 도전에 직면하고 있습니다. 이러한 변화는 기업 및 공공기관이 단순한 재무적 성과를 넘어 지속가능성, 책임경영, 비재무 리스크 관리, 혁신역량 및 장기 가치창출 역량을 갖출 것을 요구하고 있습니다.

 

SEC는 세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL)이 설립한 기업·공공기관 평가전문기관으로서 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능성, 책임경영 수준, 비재무 리스크 관리역량, 혁신역량 및 장기 가치창출 역량을 객관적이고 독립적으로 평가하여 투자자 및 이해관계자의 합리적 의사결정을 지원하고 있습니다.

 

SEC는 단순한 평가기관이 아닙니다.

 

우리는 평가를 위한 평가가 아니라 지속가능한 성장과 책임 있는 변화, 그리고 장기 가치창출을 위한 평가를 지향합니다. 기업 및 공공기관이 보다 투명하고 혁신적이며 책임 있는 조직으로 성장할 수 있도록 지원하는 평가·분석·인증 플랫폼이 되고자 합니다.

 

SEC는 평가의 공정성(Fairness), 객관성(Objectivity), 독립성(Independence), 투명성(Transparency), 책임성(Accountability), 전문성(Professionalism) 및 데이터 신뢰성(Data Reliability)을 최우선 가치로 삼고 있습니다. 이를 위하여 정치적·경제적 이해관계로부터 독립된 평가체계를 운영하고 있으며, 평가 결과에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 어떠한 부당한 외부 영향도 철저히 배제하고 있습니다.

 

또한 SEC는 평가와 인증의 독립성을 확보하기 위하여 평가대상 기업 및 공공기관으로부터 평가비, 심사비, 인증비, 후원금, 협찬금 또는 기타 금전적 지원을 일절 받지 않는 경제적 독립성(Financial Independence) 원칙을 유지하고 있습니다.

 

SEC는 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 공식 평가모델로 운영하고 있습니다.

 

WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)는 6대 평가부문(Six Major Evaluation Categories), 14개 하위항목(Fourteen Sub-Categories), 110개 세부지표(110 Detailed Indicators) 및 31개 핵심가치지표(CVI, Core Value Indicators)로 구성된 책임경영 평가체계입니다.

 

WFSRI는 ESG(Environment, Social, Governance)의 기본 가치와 평가원칙을 포함함과 동시에 공공성(Public Value), 공동체 가치(Community Value), 미래세대 보호(Protection of Future Generations), 디지털윤리(Digital Ethics) 및 혁신가치(Innovation Value)를 함께 반영하는 확장형 책임경영 평가체계입니다.

 

기존 ESG 평가가 조직의 현재 지속가능성과 비재무 리스크 관리 수준에 중점을 두고 있다면, WFSRI는 조직의 책임경영 수준, 미래 대응 역량 및 장기 가치창출 가능성까지 함께 평가하는 통합 책임경영 평가체계라는 점에서 차별성을 갖고 있습니다.

 

SEC는 또한 WFSRI를 기반으로 'SEC WFSRI Rating'을 운영하고 있습니다.

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능성, 책임경영 수준, 사회적 가치 창출 성과 및 미래 대응 역량을 종합적으로 평가하여 부여하는 공식 책임경영 평가등급 체계입니다.

 

평가등급은 AAA(Platinum Rating), AA(Gold Rating), A(Silver Rating), BB(Certified Rating), B(Not Certified)의 5단계로 구성되며, 평가결과에 따라 등급별 인증마크와 WFPL ESG 인증이 부여됩니다.

 

SEC는 ESG·WFSRI 평가분석센터(ESG·WFSRI Evaluation & Analysis Center)를 운영하여 산업별 ESG 및 WFSRI 평가결과, 산업별 리그테이블(League Tables), 동종업계 비교분석(Peer Analysis), 기업·공공기관별 책임경영 프로파일(Responsible Management Profile), 비재무 리스크 분석(Non-Financial Risk Analysis), 장기 가치창출 역량 분석(Long-Term Value Creation Analysis), 산업전망 보고서 및 연구자료를 제공하고 있습니다.

 

특히 산업별 리그테이블과 비교분석 자료를 통해 기업 및 공공기관이 자신의 현재 위치와 경쟁력을 객관적으로 진단하고 지속적인 개선과 혁신을 추진할 수 있도록 지원하고 있습니다.

Greetings.

 

I sincerely welcome and thank you for visiting the website of the Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC).

 

Today, we face rapid changes and complex challenges, including climate change, carbon neutrality, eco-friendly technological innovation, digital transformation, advances in artificial intelligence (AI), supply-chain risks, human rights protection, cybersecurity, and strengthened ethical management.

These developments increasingly require corporations and public institutions to move beyond financial performance and strengthen sustainability, responsible management, non-financial risk management, innovation capability, and long-term value creation.

 

SEC, established by the World Federation of Power Leaders (WFPL), is a specialized evaluation institution for corporations and public institutions. Through objective and independent assessments, SEC supports informed decision-making by investors and stakeholders while evaluating sustainability, responsible management performance, non-financial risk management capabilities, innovation capacity, and long-term value creation potential.

 

SEC is more than an evaluation institution.

 

We do not pursue evaluation for its own sake. Rather, we regard evaluation as a catalyst for sustainable growth, responsible transformation, and long-term value creation. Our mission is to serve as an integrated platform for evaluation, analysis, and certification that supports corporations and public institutions in becoming more transparent, innovative, and accountable organizations.

 

SEC places fairness, objectivity, independence, transparency, accountability, professionalism, and data reliability at the center of its evaluation philosophy. To uphold these principles, we maintain an evaluation framework independent of political and economic interests and free from improper external influence.

 

To preserve evaluation and certification independence, SEC maintains a principle of Financial Independence and does not accept evaluation fees, review fees, certification fees, sponsorships, promotional support, or any other financial assistance from evaluated corporations or public institutions.

 

SEC operates the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) as its official evaluation framework.

 

The WFSRI is a responsible management evaluation framework consisting of Six Major Evaluation Categories, Fourteen Sub-Categories, 110 Detailed Indicators, and 31 Core Value Indicators (CVI).

 

The WFSRI is an expanded responsible management framework that incorporates Public Value, Community Value, Protection of Future Generations, Digital Ethics, and Innovation Value in addition to ESG principles.

 

While conventional ESG assessments primarily focus on current sustainability performance and non-financial risk management, WFSRI additionally evaluates responsible management capability, future-readiness, and long-term value creation potential through an integrated responsible management framework.

SEC also operates the SEC WFSRI Rating framework based on the WFSRI.

 

The SEC WFSRI Rating is the official responsible management rating system that comprehensively evaluates sustainability, responsible management performance, social value creation, and future-readiness capability.

 

The rating system consists of five levels: AAA (Platinum Rating), AA (Gold Rating), A (Silver Rating), BB (Certified Rating), and B (Not Certified). Certification marks and WFPL ESG Certifications are granted according to rating results.

 

SEC operates the ESG·WFSRI Evaluation & Analysis Center, providing ESG and WFSRI evaluation results, industry league tables, peer analyses, responsible management profiles, non-financial risk assessments, long-term value creation analyses, industry outlook reports, and research publications.

 

Through industry league tables and peer analyses, SEC supports corporations and public institutions in objectively identifying their competitive position and pursuing continuous improvement and innovation.

 

SEC upholds Public Value, Independence, Objectivity, Transparency, Accountability, Professionalism, Sustainability, Innovation, Future Responsibility, and Data Reliability as its core values.

 

Guided by these values, we strive to support organizations in earning greater trust from investors, stakeholders, citizens, and society while contributing to sustainable development and the advancement of responsible management culture.

 

Going forward, SEC will continue to enhance the WFSRI framework and expand its international application, growing into Korea's leading responsible management evaluation and analysis platform while contributing to the establishment of new global standards in responsible management assessment.

 

Responsible transformation and innovation within corporations and public institutions are among the most powerful driving forces for a sustainable society and a better future.

 

SEC will continue to support informed decision-making by investors and stakeholders and contribute to the advancement of sustainability, responsible management, non-financial risk management capability, innovation capability, and long-term value creation through fair, objective, and independent evaluations.
