SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)는 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 기반으로 기업 및 공공기관의 책임경영 수준을 객관적이고 체계적으로 평가하기 위한 공식 평가체계를 운영하고 있다.

The Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) operates an official Evaluation Framework based on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) to objectively and systematically assess the Responsible Management performance of corporations and public institutions.

 

SEC 평가체계는 단순히 조직의 현재 수준을 평가하기 위한 절차가 아니라 조직의 강점과 개선과제를 객관적으로 진단하고 지속적인 혁신과 책임경영 역량 강화를 지원하기 위한 발전지향형 평가체계이다.

The SEC Evaluation Framework is not merely a procedure for assessing an organization's current performance. It is a development-oriented framework designed to objectively identify organizational strengths and opportunities for improvement while supporting continuous innovation and the enhancement of Responsible Management capability.

 

SEC는 객관성(Objectivity), 공정성(Fairness), 독립성(Independence), 투명성(Transparency), 책임성(Accountability), 전문성(Professionalism) 및 데이터 신뢰성(Data Reliability)을 핵심 가치로 하여 평가를 수행하며, 지속가능한 발전, 사회적 가치 창출, 미래세대 보호 및 책임경영 문화 확산에 기여하는 것을 목표로 한다.

SEC conducts evaluations based on the core values of Objectivity, Fairness, Independence, Transparency, Accountability, Professionalism, and Data Reliability, with the objective of contributing to Sustainable Development, Social Value Creation, Protection of Future Generations, and the advancement of Responsible Management.

 

 

평가철학
Evaluation Philosophy

 

SEC는 책임경영(Responsible Management)을 지속가능한 발전과 사회적 신뢰 구축을 위한 핵심 가치로 인식한다.

SEC recognizes Responsible Management as a fundamental value for Sustainable Development and the enhancement of public trust.

 

SEC는 ESG(Environment, Social, Governance)의 기본 가치와 평가원칙을 포함함은 물론 공공가치(Public Value), 사회적 가치(Social Value), 공동체 가치(Community Value), 미래세대 보호(Protection of Future Generations), 디지털윤리(Digital Ethics) 및 혁신가치(Innovation Value)를 함께 반영하는 확장형 책임경영 철학을 바탕으로 평가를 수행한다.

SEC conducts evaluations based on an expanded Responsible Management philosophy that incorporates ESG principles together with Public Value, Social Value, Community Value, Protection of Future Generations, Digital Ethics, and Innovation Value.

 

평가는 우열을 가리기 위한 목적이 아니라 조직이 스스로 책임경영 수준을 이해하고 지속가능한 성장과 장기 가치창출 역량을 강화할 수 있도록 지원하는 데 목적이 있다.

The purpose of evaluation is not merely to rank organizations but to help them understand their Responsible Management performance and strengthen Sustainable Growth and Long-Term Value Creation.

 

 

공식 평가기준
Official Evaluation Framework

 

SEC는 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 공식 평가기준으로 적용한다.

SEC applies the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) as its official Evaluation Framework.

 

WFSRI는 6대 평가부문(Six Major Evaluation Categories), 14개 하위항목(Fourteen Sub-Categories), 110개 세부지표(110 Detailed Indicators) 및 31개 핵심가치지표(CVI)로 구성된 책임경영 평가체계이다.

The WFSRI consists of Six Major Evaluation Categories, Fourteen Sub-Categories, 110 Detailed Indicators, and 31 Core Value Indicators (CVI), forming SEC's official Responsible Management Evaluation Framework.

 

 

평가 운영원칙

SEC는 다음의 원칙에 따라 평가를 운영한다.

SEC의 평가는 다음과 같은 절차에 따라 운영된다.

자료 적정성 검토 (Review of Data Adequacy)
공개자료 검증 및 사실확인(Factual Review)
평가위원 검토 및 평가위원회 심의 (Evaluator Review and Commission Deliberation)
사실확인 및 이의신청 절차 운영 (Factual Review and Appeal Procedures)
평가결과 확정 및 공표 (Confirmation and Disclosure of Evaluation Results)

 

평가 거버넌스
Evaluation Governance

 

SEC는 사실확인 운영규정, 이의신청 심사규정, 평가윤리규정, 이해상충 방지규정 및 평가결과 공표규정을 기반으로 평가 거버넌스를 운영한다.

SEC operates its Evaluation Governance Framework based on the Factual Review Regulations, Appeal Review Regulations, Evaluation Ethics Regulations, Conflict of Interest Prevention Regulations, and Rating Disclosure Regulations.

 

또한 평가와 인증의 독립성을 확보하기 위하여 평가대상 기관으로부터 평가비, 심사비, 인증비, 후원금, 협찬금 또는 기타 경제적 지원을 받지 않는 경제적 독립성(Financial Independence) 원칙을 유지한다.

To ensure the independence of evaluation and certification, SEC maintains the principle of Financial Independence by accepting no evaluation fees, review fees, certification fees, sponsorships, or other financial support from evaluated organizations.

 

 

평가결과 활용
Utilization of Evaluation Results

 

평가결과는 SEC WFSRI Rating 부여, WFPL ESG 인증 운영, ESG·WFSRI 평가분석센터 운영, 비교분석 보고서 발간 및 책임경영 문화 확산을 위한 기초자료로 활용된다.

Evaluation results are utilized as the basis for the SEC WFSRI Rating, the WFPL ESG Certification Program, the ESG·WFSRI Evaluation & Analysis Center, comparative analysis reports, and the promotion of Responsible Management.

Continuous Advancement

 

SEC는 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)와 SEC WFSRI Rating을 지속적으로 발전시켜 국제적 수준의 책임경영 평가체계를 구축하고, 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능한 발전과 장기 가치창출을 지원한다.

SEC will continuously advance the WFSRI and the SEC WFSRI Rating to build an internationally recognized Responsible Management Evaluation Framework that supports Sustainable Development and Long-Term Value Creation for corporations and public institutions.
