WFPL ESG·WFSRI Evaluation for Corporations and Public Institutions

 

세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL, WORLD FEDERATION OF POWER LEADERS)이 설립한 기업·공공기관 평가전문기관인 SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)는 기업 및 공공기관의 ESG 기반 책임경영 실천 수준과 사회적 가치 창출 성과를 종합적으로 평가하기 위하여 WFPL 기업·공공기관 ESG·WFSRI 평가를 운영하고 있다.

SEC (Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission), a specialized evaluation institution for corporations and public institutions established by the World Federation of Power Leaders (WFPL), operates the WFPL ESG·WFSRI Evaluation for Corporations and Public Institutions to comprehensively assess ESG-based responsible management practices and social value creation performance.

 

본 평가는 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI, WF Sustainable Responsibility Index)를 기반으로 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능성(Sustainability), 책임경영(Responsible Management), 비재무 리스크 관리역량(Non-Financial Risk Management Capability), 혁신역량(Innovation Capability) 및 장기 가치창출 역량(Long-Term Value Creation Potential)을 종합적으로 평가하는 책임경영 평가제도이다.

This evaluation is a responsible management assessment system based on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), designed to comprehensively evaluate sustainability, responsible management, non-financial risk management capability, innovation capability, and long-term value creation potential.

 

SEC는 본 평가를 통하여 책임경영 문화 확산, 사회적 가치 실현, 건전한 지배구조 확립, 회계 투명성 강화 및 지속가능한 발전에 기여하고자 한다.

Through this evaluation, SEC seeks to promote responsible management culture, realize social value, strengthen governance, enhance accounting transparency, and contribute to sustainable development.

Ⅰ. 평가 목적

Purpose of the Evaluation

본 평가는 기업 및 공공기관의 ESG 기반 책임경영 실천 수준과 사회적 가치 창출 성과를 종합적으로 평가하기 위하여 실시된다.

This evaluation is conducted to comprehensively assess ESG-based responsible management practices and social value creation performance of corporations and public institutions.

 

특히 지속가능성, 책임경영, 비재무 리스크 관리역량, 혁신역량 및 장기 가치창출 역량을 중심으로 평가함으로써 책임경영 문화 확산과 사회적 신뢰 제고에 기여하고, 회계 투명성 강화, 건전한 지배구조 확립 및 지속가능한 발전 기반 조성에 기여하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

The evaluation aims to promote responsible management culture, strengthen social trust, enhance accounting transparency, establish sound governance, and support sustainable development.

Ⅱ. WF책임경영지수(WFSRI) 기반 ESG·WFSRI 평가

Evaluation Based on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI)

WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)는 6대 평가부문(Six Major Evaluation Categories), 14개 하위항목(Fourteen Sub-Categories), 110개 세부지표(110 Detailed Indicators) 및 31개 핵심가치지표(CVI, Core Value Indicators)로 구성된 책임경영 평가체계이다.

The WFSRI is a responsible management evaluation framework consisting of Six Major Evaluation Categories, Fourteen Sub-Categories, 110 Detailed Indicators, and 31 Core Value Indicators (CVI).

 

WFSRI는 ESG(Environment, Social, Governance)의 기본 가치와 평가원칙을 포함함과 동시에 공공성(Public Value), 공동체 가치(Community Value), 미래세대 보호(Protection of Future Generations), 디지털윤리(Digital Ethics) 및 혁신가치(Innovation Value)를 함께 반영하는 확장형 책임경영 평가체계이다.

WFSRI is an expanded responsible management framework that incorporates Public Value, Community Value, Protection of Future Generations, Digital Ethics, and Innovation Value in addition to ESG principles.

 

SEC는 WFSRI를 기반으로 운영되는 ESG·WFSRI 평가체계를 통하여 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능성, 책임경영, 비재무 리스크 관리역량, 혁신역량 및 장기 가치창출 역량을 종합적으로 평가한다.

SEC comprehensively evaluates sustainability, responsible management, non-financial risk management capability, innovation capability, and long-term value creation potential through the ESG·WFSRI evaluation framework based on WFSRI.

Ⅲ. 평가체계

Evaluation Framework

SEC는 다음과 같은 평가체계를 운영한다.

SEC operates the following evaluation framework.

• 6대 평가부문 (Six Major Evaluation Categories)

• 14개 하위항목 (Fourteen Sub-Categories)

• 110개 세부지표 (110 Detailed Indicators)

• 31개 핵심가치지표(CVI) (31 Core Value Indicators)

 

평가결과는 SEC WFSRI Rating 체계를 적용하여 산출되며, ESG 성과와 책임경영 수준, 사회적 가치 창출 성과, 미래 대응 역량 및 핵심가치 실천 수준을 종합적으로 반영한다.

Evaluation results are derived through the SEC WFSRI Rating framework and reflect ESG performance, responsible management capability, social value creation outcomes, future readiness, and implementation of core values.

Ⅳ. 평가대상

Evaluation Subjects

본 평가는 다음 기업 및 공공기관을 대상으로 실시한다.

This evaluation applies to the following corporations and public institutions.

 

기업 부문 (Corporate Sector)

• 코스피(KOSPI) 상장기업

• 코스닥(KOSDAQ) 상장기업

• 중견기업

• 기타 SEC가 필요하다고 인정하는 기업

 

공공기관 부문 (Public Institution Sector)

• 중앙행정기관 산하 공공기관

• 공기업 및 준정부기관

• 지방공기업

• 기타 SEC가 필요하다고 인정하는 공공기관

 

기업 부문은 코스피(KOSPI) 및 코스닥(KOSDAQ) 상장기업을 중심으로 평가하며, 공공기관 부문은 기관 유형별 특성을 고려하여 평가한다.

 

Ⅴ. 평가원칙

Evaluation Principles

SEC는 다음 원칙에 따라 평가를 수행한다.

SEC conducts evaluations in accordance with the following principles.

 

• 정치적 중립성 (Political Neutrality)

• 평가의 독립성 (Independence)

• 객관성과 공정성 (Objectivity and Fairness)

• 공개자료 중심 평가 (Public Information-Based Evaluation)

• 사실확인(Factual Review) 절차 운영

• 이의신청(Appeal) 절차 보장

• 이해상충 방지 (Conflict of Interest Prevention)

• 특정 기관 및 기업에 대한 특혜 배제

 

SEC는 평가와 인증의 독립성 확보를 위하여 평가대상 기업 및 공공기관으로부터 평가비, 심사비, 인증비, 후원금, 협찬금 또는 기타 금전적 지원을 받지 않는 경제적 독립성 원칙을 유지한다.

Ⅵ. 평가자료 반영기준

Evaluation Reference Period

평가는 연 1회 실시하는 것을 원칙으로 한다.

The evaluation is conducted annually.

 

평가자료 반영기간은 매년 1월 1일부터 11월 30일까지를 원칙으로 한다.

The evaluation reference period shall generally cover January 1 through November 30 of each year.

Ⅶ. 평가자료 제출 및 검증

Submission and Verification of Evaluation Materials

SEC는 평가 진행 과정에서 필요한 경우 해당 기업 또는 공공기관에 추가 자료 제출을 요청할 수 있다.

SEC may request additional materials where necessary during the evaluation process.

 

제출자료는 전자문서를 원칙으로 한다.

Materials shall generally be submitted in electronic form.

Ⅷ. 평가결과 발표

Announcement of Evaluation Results

평가결과는 SEC 및 WFPL 공식 홈페이지와 보도자료 등을 통하여 공개할 수 있다.

Evaluation results may be disclosed through the official SEC and WFPL websites and press releases.

Ⅸ. SEC WFSRI Rating

SEC WFSRI Rating은 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 기반으로 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능성, 책임경영 수준, 사회적 가치 창출 성과 및 미래 대응 역량을 종합적으로 평가하여 부여하는 공식 책임경영 평가등급 체계이다.

The SEC WFSRI Rating is the official responsible management rating system based on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI).

 

평가등급은 다음과 같다.

The rating categories are as follows:

 

• AAA (Platinum Rating)

• AA (Gold Rating)

• A (Silver Rating)

• BB (Certified Rating)

• B (Not Certified)

Ⅹ. 인증제도

Certification Program

SEC는 평가결과에 따라 인증마크 및 WFPL ESG 인증을 부여할 수 있다.

SEC may grant certification marks and WFPL ESG Certifications based on evaluation results.

Ⅺ. 평가결과 공개

Disclosure of Evaluation Results

WFPL 기업·공공기관 ESG·WFSRI 평가 결과는 공개를 원칙으로 한다.

The results of the WFPL ESG·WFSRI Evaluation for Corporations and Public Institutions shall, in principle, be publicly disclosed.

 

다만 SEC가 필요하다고 인정하는 특별한 경우에는 일부 내용을 비공개할 수 있다.

However, SEC may withhold certain information where special circumstances require.
