The WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) is an integrated Responsible Management Evaluation Framework developed by the Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC). It is designed to comprehensively evaluate the Sustainability, Responsible Management, Public Value, Social Value, Community Value, Protection of Future Generations, Digital Ethics, Innovation Value, Innovation Capability, and Long-Term Value Creation Potential of Corporations and Public Institutions while supporting continuous innovation and the advancement of responsible management.

 

오늘날 ESG(Environment, Social, Governance)는 전 세계적으로 조직의 지속가능성을 평가하는 핵심 기준으로 자리매김하고 있으며, 책임 있는 경영활동을 촉진하는 중요한 역할을 수행하고 있다. 그러나 급변하는 경영환경 속에서 공공가치(Public Value), 사회적 가치(Social Value), 공동체 가치(Community Value), 미래세대 보호(Protection of Future Generations), 디지털윤리(Digital Ethics), 혁신가치(Innovation Value) 및 미래 성장역량(Future Growth Capability)의 중요성이 더욱 확대되면서, 기존 ESG 평가체계만으로는 이러한 새로운 책임경영 요구를 충분히 반영하기 어렵다는 인식이 확산되고 있다.

Today, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) has become the globally recognized framework for evaluating organizational sustainability and plays a vital role in promoting responsible management. As management environments continue to evolve, increasing emphasis is being placed on Public Value, Social Value, Community Value, Protection of Future Generations, Digital Ethics, Innovation Value, and Future Growth Capability, creating growing recognition that conventional ESG frameworks alone cannot fully capture these emerging dimensions of responsible management.

 

이에 따라 WFSRI는 기존 ESG(Environment, Social, Governance) 평가체계만으로는 충분히 반영하기 어려운 현대 사회의 새로운 책임경영 요구를 종합적으로 평가하기 위하여 개발된 차세대 책임경영 평가체계이다. ESG의 기본 영역을 넘어 공공가치(Public Value), 사회적 가치(Social Value), 공동체 가치(Community Value), 미래세대 보호(Protection of Future Generations), 디지털윤리(Digital Ethics), 혁신가치(Innovation Value) 및 미래 성장역량(Future Growth Capability)을 함께 반영함으로써 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능성, 책임경영 수준, 비재무 리스크 관리역량, 혁신역량 및 장기 가치창출 역량을 보다 입체적이고 미래지향적으로 평가한다.

Accordingly, the WFSRI is a next-generation Responsible Management Evaluation Framework developed to address the evolving responsible management challenges of modern society that are difficult to fully capture through conventional ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) frameworks alone. Going beyond the traditional ESG domains, it incorporates Public Value, Social Value, Community Value, Protection of Future Generations, Digital Ethics, Innovation Value, and Future Growth Capability to provide a more comprehensive and forward-looking assessment of the Sustainability, Responsible Management Performance, Non-Financial Risk Management Capability, Innovation Capability, and Long-Term Value Creation Potential of Corporations and Public Institutions.

 

WFSRI는 6대 평가부문(Six Major Evaluation Categories), 14개 하위항목(Fourteen Sub-Categories), 110개 세부지표(110 Detailed Indicators) 및 31개 핵심가치지표(Core Value Indicators, CVI)로 구성되어 있으며, 핵심가치지표(CVI)는 제080호부터 제110호까지 총 31개 지표로 운영된다.

The WFSRI consists of Six Major Evaluation Categories, Fourteen Sub-Categories, 110 Detailed Indicators, and 31 Core Value Indicators (CVI). The Core Value Indicators comprise Indicators No. 080 through No. 110 and represent the core values of the WFSRI.
