8-1. 평가체계 발전의 배경 (Background of Framework Development)

 

WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)는 공공기관과 기업의 지속가능성, 책임경영, 공공성 및 사회적 가치 실현 수준을 종합적으로 평가하기 위하여 개발된 통합 평가체계이다.

The WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) is an integrated evaluation framework developed to comprehensively assess sustainability, responsible management, public value, and social value creation among public institutions and corporations.

공기업평가위원회(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission, SEC)는 기존 ESG 평가체계의 장점을 계승하면서도 공공성, 사회적 가치, 공동체 가치 및 책임경영을 보다 적극적으로 반영할 수 있는 새로운 평가모델의 필요성을 인식하였다.

The Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) recognized the need for a new evaluation model that would preserve the strengths of existing ESG frameworks while more effectively incorporating Public Value, Social Value, Community Value, and Responsible Management.

이에 따라 장기간의 연구와 검토를 거쳐 WFSRI 평가체계를 개발하게 되었다.

Accordingly, the WFSRI evaluation framework was developed through extensive research and review.

 

 

8-2. WFSRI 개발 연혁 (Development History of the WFSRI)

2017년 1월 (January 2017)

연구 착수 (Commencement of Research)

공공기관 및 기업의 지속가능성 및 책임경영 평가체계 연구를 시작하였다.

Research was initiated on sustainability and responsible management evaluation frameworks for public institutions and corporations.

 

 

2019년 (2019)

WFSRI 연구개발 본격화 (Launch of Full-scale WFSRI Research and Development)

책임경영 철학을 반영한 평가체계 개발을 본격적으로 추진하였다.

Full-scale development of an evaluation framework incorporating Responsible Management principles was initiated.

 

 

2023년 (2023)

WF지속가능경영 ESG 평가모델 운영 경험 축적

Accumulation of Operational Experience in ESG Evaluation Models

기존 ESG 기반 평가모델 운영 경험을 축적하고 평가체계 개선을 위한 연구를 확대하였다.

Operational experience from ESG-based evaluation models was accumulated and research for framework improvement was expanded.

 

 

 

2025년 3월 1일 (March 1, 2025)

WFSRI 개발 완료 (Completion of WFSRI Development)

WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)의 기본 체계 개발을 완료하였다.

Development of the fundamental framework of the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) was completed.

 

 

 

2025년 11월 1일 (November 1, 2025)

WFSRI 백서 초판 발간 (Publication of the First Edition of the WFSRI White Paper)

 

『WF책임경영지수(WFSRI) 백서』 초판(Version 1.0)을 공식 발간하였다.

The first edition (Version 1.0) of the White Paper on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) was officially published.

 

 

2025년 12월 26일 (December 26, 2025)

 

백서 개정 및 평가체계 보완

Revision of the White Paper and Enhancement of the Evaluation Framework

 

6대 평가부문, 14개 하위항목, 110개 세부지표 및 핵심가치지표(CVI) 체계를 최종 정비하고 백서 내용을 보완하였다.

The six Evaluation Categories, fourteen Sub-Categories, one hundred ten Detailed Indicators, and Core Value Indicators (CVI) framework were finalized and incorporated into the revised White Paper.

 

 

2026년 1월 1일 (January 1, 2026)

제1회 WFPL 공공기관·기업 ESG 평가 시행

Launch of the First WFPL ESG Evaluation for Public Institutions and Corporations

 

공기업평가위원회(SEC)는 WFSRI를 기반으로 제1회 공식 평가를 시행하였다.

The Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) launched its first official evaluation based on the WFSRI framework.

 

 

 

8-3. 평가체계 발전 방향 (Future Direction of Framework Development)

공기업평가위원회는 WFSRI를 지속적으로 발전시켜 국제적으로 활용 가능한 책임경영 중심 평가체계로 성장시키고자 한다.

The Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission seeks to continuously advance the WFSRI into an internationally applicable evaluation framework centered on Responsible Management.

향후 평가체계는 지속가능성, 공공성, 사회적 가치, 공동체 가치 및 혁신성장을 보다 효과적으로 반영할 수 있도록 지속적인 연구와 개선을 추진할 예정이다.

Future development efforts will focus on enhancing the framework's ability to reflect Sustainability, Public Value, Social Value, Community Value, and Innovation Growth.

또한 핵심가치지표(CVI)의 고도화, 평가모델의 국제화, 인증제도의 확대 및 정책 활용성 강화를 통하여 책임경영 문화 확산에 기여하고자 한다.

The Commission will also pursue advancement of the CVI framework, internationalization of the evaluation model, expansion of certification programs, and greater policy utilization to promote a culture of Responsible Management.
