SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)는 세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL, World Federation of Power Leaders)이 설립한 기업·공공기관 평가전문기관으로, WF책임경영지수(WFSRI, WF Sustainable Responsibility Index)를 기반으로 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능성(Sustainability), 책임경영(Responsible Management), 비재무 리스크 관리역량(Non-Financial Risk Management Capability), 혁신역량(Innovation Capability) 및 장기 가치창출 역량(Long-Term Value Creation Potential)을 종합적으로 평가하여 투자자 및 이해관계자의 합리적 의사결정을 지원하고 있다.

 

The Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission (SEC) is a specialized evaluation institution for corporations and public institutions established by the World Federation of Power Leaders (WFPL). Based on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), SEC comprehensively evaluates sustainability, responsible management, non-financial risk management capability, innovation capability, and long-term value creation potential to support informed decision-making by investors and stakeholders.

 

대한민국은 세계적인 제조업 경쟁력과 첨단 기술력을 바탕으로 반도체, 인공지능(AI), 정보통신기술(ICT), 바이오, 모빌리티 및 미래산업 분야에서 글로벌 경쟁력을 확보하고 있다. 기업은 혁신과 성장을 주도하고 있으며, 공공기관은 국가 발전과 공공서비스 혁신의 핵심 주체로 자리하고 있다.

 

The Republic of Korea has established strong global competitiveness in semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI), information and communications technology (ICT), biotechnology, mobility, and future industries. Corporations continue to drive innovation and growth, while public institutions serve as key actors in national development and public service innovation.

 

그러나 미래 경쟁력은 기술력과 경제 규모만으로 확보될 수 없다. 지속가능한 성장과 장기적 발전을 위해서는 건전한 지배구조, 책임 있는 경영체계, 효과적인 비재무 리스크 관리, 혁신역량 강화, 사회적 신뢰 확보 및 미래세대를 고려한 지속가능한 가치창출이 함께 이루어져야 한다.

 

However, future competitiveness cannot be secured solely through technological capability or economic scale. Sustainable growth and long-term development require sound governance, responsible management systems, effective non-financial risk management, innovation capability, social trust, and sustainable value creation for future generations.

SEC는 평가(Evaluation), 분석(Analysis), 인증(Certification)을 통합적으로 수행하는 책임경영 플랫폼으로서 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능한 성장과 책임경영 생태계 조성을 지원하고 있다.

 

SEC serves as an integrated responsible management platform combining Evaluation, Analysis, and Certification functions while supporting sustainable growth and the development of a responsible management ecosystem.

WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)

WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI)

 

SEC는 세계청년리더총연맹(WFPL)의 책임경영 철학과 연구 성과를 바탕으로 개발된 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 공식 평가모델로 운영하고 있다.

 

SEC utilizes the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), developed on the basis of the responsible management philosophy and research achievements of the World Federation of Power Leaders (WFPL), as its official evaluation framework.

 

WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)는 6대 평가부문(Six Major Evaluation Categories), 14개 하위항목(Fourteen Sub-Categories), 110개 세부지표(110 Detailed Indicators) 및 31개 핵심가치지표(CVI, Core Value Indicators)로 구성된 책임경영 평가체계이다.

 

The WFSRI is a responsible management evaluation framework consisting of Six Major Evaluation Categories, Fourteen Sub-Categories, 110 Detailed Indicators, and 31 Core Value Indicators (CVI).

 

WFSRI는 ESG(Environment, Social, Governance)의 기본 가치와 평가원칙을 포함함과 동시에 공공성(Public Value), 공동체 가치(Community Value), 미래세대 보호(Protection of Future Generations), 디지털윤리(Digital Ethics) 및 혁신가치(Innovation Value)를 함께 반영하는 확장형 책임경영 평가체계이다.

 

The WFSRI is an expanded responsible management framework that incorporates Public Value, Community Value, Protection of Future Generations, Digital Ethics, and Innovation Value in addition to ESG principles.

 

 

SEC WFSRI Rating

 

SEC는 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 기반으로 SEC WFSRI Rating을 운영하고 있다.

 

SEC operates the SEC WFSRI Rating framework based on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI).

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 기업 및 공공기관의 지속가능성, 책임경영 수준, 사회적 가치 창출 성과 및 미래 대응 역량을 종합적으로 평가하여 부여하는 공식 책임경영 평가등급 체계이다.

 

The SEC WFSRI Rating is the official responsible management rating system that comprehensively evaluates sustainability, responsible management performance, social value creation, and future-readiness capability.

 

평가등급은 AAA(Platinum), AA(Gold), A(Silver), BB(Certified), B(Not Certified)의 5단계로 구성되며, 평가결과에 따라 인증마크가 부여된다.

 

The rating system consists of five levels: AAA (Platinum), AA (Gold), A (Silver), BB (Certified), and B (Not Certified), with certification marks awarded according to evaluation results.

ESG·WFSRI Evaluation & Analysis Center

 

SEC는 ESG·WFSRI 평가분석센터를 운영하여 ESG 및 WFSRI 평가결과, 산업별 리그테이블, 비교분석 보고서, 책임경영 프로파일, 비재무 리스크 분석, 장기 가치창출 역량 분석, 산업전망 보고서 및 연구자료를 제공하고 있다.

 

SEC operates the ESG·WFSRI Evaluation & Analysis Center, providing ESG and WFSRI evaluation results, industry league tables, comparative analysis reports, responsible management profiles, non-financial risk assessments, long-term value creation analyses, industry outlook reports, and research publications.

 

평가분석센터는 단순한 평가결과 공개를 넘어 기업 및 공공기관의 상대적 위치와 책임경영 수준을 객관적으로 분석·제시하는 전문 정보 플랫폼으로 운영된다.

 

The Center functions as a professional information platform that objectively analyzes and presents the relative standing and responsible management performance of corporations and public institutions.

 

 

독립 평가 원칙

Principles of Independent Evaluation

 

SEC는 공정성(Fairness), 객관성(Objectivity), 독립성(Independence), 투명성(Transparency), 책임성(Accountability), 전문성(Professionalism) 및 데이터 신뢰성(Data Reliability)을 평가 운영의 핵심 원칙으로 삼고 있다.

 

SEC upholds Fairness, Objectivity, Independence, Transparency, Accountability, Professionalism, and Data Reliability as the fundamental principles governing all evaluation activities.

 

SEC는 평가와 인증의 독립성을 확보하기 위하여 평가대상 기업 및 공공기관으로부터 평가비, 심사비, 인증비, 후원금, 협찬금 또는 기타 금전적 지원을 받지 않는 경제적 독립성 원칙을 유지하고 있다.

 

SEC maintains a principle of Financial Independence and does not accept evaluation fees, review fees, certification fees, sponsorships, promotional support, or any other financial assistance from evaluated corporations or public institutions.

 

또한 SEC는 사실확인(Factual Review), 이의신청(Appeal), 평가윤리(Evaluation Ethics) 및 이해상충 방지(Conflict of Interest Prevention) 체계를 운영하여 평가의 신뢰성과 공정성을 확보하고 있다.
