SEC WFSRI Rating은 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)의 평가결과를 기반으로 기업 및 공공기관의 책임경영 수준을 종합적으로 평가하여 부여하는 공식 평가등급 체계이다.

 

The SEC WFSRI Rating is the official rating system that assigns ratings based on the evaluation results of the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) and comprehensively assesses the responsible management performance of corporations and public institutions.

SEC는 평가결과를 보다 객관적이고 이해하기 쉬운 형태로 제공하기 위하여 5단계 평가등급 체계를 운영하고 있으며, 각 등급에는 고유의 인증마크가 부여된다.

 

To provide evaluation results in a more objective and understandable format, SEC operates a five-level rating structure, with a unique certification mark assigned to each rating category.

SEC WFSRI Rating은 조직의 지속가능성(Sustainability), 책임경영 수준(Responsible Management), 비재무 리스크 관리역량(Non-Financial Risk Management Capability), 혁신역량(Innovation Capability) 및 장기 가치창출 역량(Long-Term Value Creation Potential)을 종합적으로 평가하여 등급을 부여한다.

 

The SEC WFSRI Rating evaluates sustainability, responsible management performance, non-financial risk management capability, innovation capability, and long-term value creation potential in order to assign ratings.

 

SEC는 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)의 평가결과를 보다 객관적이고 이해하기 쉬운 형태로 제공하기 위하여 ‘SEC WFSRI Rating 2026’ 공식 등급체계를 개발하였다. 해당 등급체계는 2025년 11월 1일 초안이 마련되었으며, 전문가 검토와 의견수렴 과정을 거쳐 2025년 12월 26일 최종 확정되었다. 이후 2026년 1월 1일 공식 평가등급 체계와 인증마크 디자인이 공개되었으며, 현재 SEC의 공식 책임경영 평가등급 체계로 운영되고 있다.

 

In order to present WFSRI evaluation results in a more objective and understandable format, SEC developed the SEC WFSRI Rating 2026 framework. The initial framework was prepared on November 1, 2025 and was finalized on December 26, 2025 following expert reviews and stakeholder consultations. On January 1, 2026, the official rating structure and certification mark design were publicly released, and the framework is currently operated as SEC’s official responsible management rating system.

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 다음과 같은 5단계 평가등급 체계로 운영된다.

The SEC WFSRI Rating operates through the following five-level rating structure.

AAA (Platinum Rating)

최고 수준의 책임경영 체계와 지속가능경영 성과를 보유하고 있으며 사회적 가치 창출과 미래 대응 역량이 매우 우수한 기업 및 공공기관에 부여되는 최상위 등급이다.

The highest rating awarded to corporations and public institutions that demonstrate outstanding responsible management systems, sustainability performance, social value creation, and future readiness.

AA (Gold Rating)

우수한 책임경영 체계를 구축하고 지속가능경영 성과와 혁신역량이 우수한 기업 및 공공기관에 부여되는 등급이다.

A rating awarded to corporations and public institutions that maintain strong responsible management systems and demonstrate excellent sustainability performance and innovation capability.

A (Silver Rating)

안정적인 책임경영 체계를 구축하고 있으며 지속적인 개선 노력과 발전 가능성이 확인되는 기업 및 공공기관에 부여되는 등급이다.

A rating awarded to corporations and public institutions that maintain stable responsible management systems and demonstrate continuous improvement efforts and future development potential.

BB (Certified Rating)

기본적인 책임경영 체계를 갖추고 SEC가 정한 평가기준을 충족한 기업 및 공공기관에 부여되는 인증등급이다.

A certification rating awarded to corporations and public institutions that satisfy the minimum responsible management standards established by SEC.

B (Not Certified)

책임경영 체계가 미흡하거나 SEC가 정한 인증기준에 미달하는 경우 부여되는 등급이다.

A rating assigned when responsible management systems are insufficient or when the organization does not satisfy the certification requirements established by SEC.

 

SEC WFSRI Rating은 단순한 등급 부여에 목적이 있는 것이 아니라 기업 및 공공기관의 자발적인 책임경영 실천과 지속적인 개선을 유도하기 위한 발전지향적 평가체계로 운영된다.

 

The SEC WFSRI Rating is not intended solely for rating assignment but serves as a development-oriented framework designed to encourage voluntary responsible management practices and continuous improvement among corporations and public institutions.

또한 SEC는 평가등급과 연계한 인증마크 운영, WFPL ESG 인증제도 및 ESG·WFSRI 평가분석센터를 통하여 평가결과의 활용성을 높이고 책임경영 문화 확산에 기여하고자 한다.

 

SEC also seeks to enhance the practical value of evaluation results and promote responsible management culture through certification marks, the WFPL ESG Certification Program, and the ESG·WFSRI Evaluation & Analysis Center linked to the rating system.
